Amanda and Leo were born on the same day, in the same hospital. Since that time, the now best friends have celebrated all their birthdays together. That is – until this, the 11th birthday. This year, it will be two parties. Amanda doesn’t like to think about the event that caused this riff in their friendship; she just wants the day to be over. Unfortunately for her, something very strange is happening. She keeps waking up and experiencing her 11th birthday again, and again, and again. Soon she discovers that Leo is having the same experience. Will Amanda and Leo get this day to ever stop repeating or will they have their 11th birthday every day for the rest of their lives?

Imagine living a day over and over again. Hollywood and television have made several movies and shows based on this theme. Maybe you have seen "Ground Hog Day" a very funny movie featuring Bill Murray? The character has to relive the same day over and over until he gets it right, thus breaking the pattern or curse.

Create a "One Day in My Life" Diary

Write: down all the things you do today-even the things you wish you had not done, or said, or eaten.

Reflect: At the end of the day, stop and reflect on the day's events. Write these thoughts down.

Change: What would you have done differently?
Tomorrow will bring a new day with new opportunities to correct the mistakes from yesterday or to repeat all the really
nice things you did today. Think up new ways to show that you appreciate your friends and family and be ready to forgive them for their goof ups too.

Illustrate: Illustrate your favorite event that happened to you today. Was it something you did or was it something someone did for you or with you? Think about why it was your favorite event of the day. Would you repeat this event?

What about repeating an unpleasant part of your day? If you could have a "do over day" what steps would you take to avoid or change this unpleasant event of the day?
